Back in the 1970s and 1980s, red squirrel mascot Tufty and his friends were the figureheads for road safety in British primary schools. Later replaced by Dave Prowse (aka Darth Vader) as The Green Cross Man, Tufty had the distinction of having his own club (the eponymous Tufty Club) named after him. Many children of the 1970s and 1980s will remember the Tufty Club with great affection, and some may even still have a badge squirreled away (pardon the pun) somewhere. This Tufty Club t-shirt is a perfect retro design and will bring smiles to the faces of anyone who was young during the Seventies and Eighties.
